The interview edit

When it comes to interview success, first impressions are key.

Of course, nailing the interview outfit won’t guarantee you land that dream graduate job, however we here at Liberty Belle believe that it can definitely help along the way.

Our fashion writer, May Looman, has put together three outfits to ensure you have all the inspiration you need.

1) Preppy Chic:

the interview edit

This outfit looks effortless, but still smart enough for an interview. A bright bag adds a pop of colour to an outfit, and similar styles can be found in Topshop, which is where this top is also from. Exposed collars smarten up the basic black tailored trousers. Adding simple accessories requires little effort but adds an extra touch. Similar rings can also be found on the Topshop website.

2. 60’s glam:

High necks and a-line skirts scream 60’s style and this outfit is girly but still professional. New Look stock similar skirts and basic high neck tops that can be mixed and matched. ASOS is the place for affordable pointed flats, perfect for when we (finally) get into Spring.

3. Smart and sassy:

A crisp white shirt is a wardrobe staple and looks even smarter tucked into wide leg trousers which are everywhere at the moment. A classic silver watch to make sure you’re on time and looking good. ASOS stock Casio watches which are affordable but look the part. A little blag handbag to throw on in a rush adds a final touch, and it’s worth checking out Zara for similar styles.
