‘This month’s favourite’ is a monthly series of articles that highlight the best products our writers have been using and boasting about. Check out contributor Saya Uotani’s winter faves.

They named this one right. In the dry winter weather, the trusty matte lip look just makes my lips feel like a desert, and regular lipsticks are often not food (or mulled wine) proof. The Glossier balm dotcom I use and love are the Rose and Cherry ones, so they give a subtle tint without the mess! They smell amazing as well, which is always a plus.

Morphe 35OS Eyeshadow Palette

Christmas season is the time to be extra, and the best way to do it is with some bomb eyeshadow. The Morphe 35OS has 35 warm-toned, wearable colours in it, and even though they’re all shimmer shades, they’re pigmented to the gods so they look awesome both day and night. I love to use the brighter shades as liner, and the lighter ones as inner corner highlights!

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse

Sounds bougie, right? It smells bougie too. A long-time staple in the Parisienne’s cabinet, this body, face, and hair oil moisturises and leaves a healthy sheen wherever you put it. I love to dab some on my collarbones every morning to keep my moods lifted! They also do one with gold flecks in it if you want that “Ultralight Beam” look without the Kim K price tag.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Fragrance Free Daily Lotion

Phew that’s a mouthful! A few days ago I realised I was only moisturising obvious areas like my face and legs, and desperately needed to get rid of my ashy elbows and sides. Palmer’s better never discontinue this bottle of wonder. I’m a night-showerer so I slather Palmer’s on my body and wake up to smooth skin that lasts until my shower the next night!
