Make-up looks for Christmas parties

It’s that time of year again when the invitations to Christmas parties come rolling in and you want to look your best for that special evening.

If you are searching for inspiration for some Christmas makeup looks, our contributor Amy Clarke has put together four of her favourite looks for you to try out.

Shimmery gold with a classic red lip

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Face: First I primed the face with a Nivea Rich moisturiser £3.33, Boots. I then used my Real techniques expert face brush £9.99, Boots to apply Revlon colour stay foundation in the shade ivory £12.99, Boots. For contour and highlight I used the revolution contour palette £8, Superdrug.

Eyebrows: For my eyebrows I used the shade triple fudge from the Two faced chocolate bar palette £39.99 Debenhams using my Eco tools angled eyebrow brush £6.99 brow shaping set Superdrug.

Eyes: For the eyes I used the Two faced chocolate bar palette shades crème brulee for the base and then I used the shades semi sweet and triple fudge in the crease. I then lined the eyes using the Maybelline Master Precise liquid eyeliner £5.99, Boots. I then applied the Maybelline lash sensational mascara £8.99, Boots.

Lips: For the lips I used Rio Rio £8, Topshop.

Eyes: For the eyes I used the chocolate brown colour from the Revolution eyeshadow palette for under the eyes and in the crease I used the green eyeshadow as well as the makeup obsession eyeshadow in the shade olive for the base £2, Boots.

(I used the same eyeliner and mascara as before)

Lips: I first lined the lips with the essence pink lipliner in the shade satin mauve £1 Wilkos and then I used the lipstick Twig £16.50 Mac.

Eyes: For the eyes I used the same revolution eyeshadow palette and mixed together the black and white eyeshadow to apply silver to the base. I then used the black in the crease and blended it in using the blending eyeshadow brush from Real techniques eye set £9.99, Boots.

Lips: I lined the lips using the same essence lipliner in the shade satin mauve and then I used the NYX soft matte lip cream in Cannes £6, Boots.
