Instagram supermodel Alexis Ren launches her self-titled brand of active wear: REN.

If you don’t recognise the name, I am sure you’ll recognise the face.

The 20-year-old, American internet sensation has over 10 million Instagram followers and shot to fame on social media with pictures captioned #GOALS.

Alexis has now launched her own active wear range called “REN” with the catch phrase, “for the girl that’s passionately curious”.

She said: “Growing up in Santa Monica, it was always important to be in workout clothes that still look stylish. For me, it’s all about looking and feeling fresh.”

The collection has something for everyone and includes tops, outerwear, bottoms, bras and bodysuits in a black, grey, nude and red colour scheme.

The young model said: “With REN, you can wear it out and about, in the gym or an outdoor adventure.”

All the pieces use “moisture management” and “UV protection” fabrics, perfect for those hard-core work outs.

But, as expected with any celeb collection it doesn’t come cheap, prices range from $42 to a massive $158. Girls, you better get saving!

Even the most simplistic item, “The Trap Tee”, a plain black t-shirt (just like the one I own from Primark) is priced at $48.

However, the practicality of active wear leaves little to the imagination. The plunging neck line and thong bottom of the sexy “Tiger eye one piece” doesn’t exactly look ideal to be squatting, stretching and lifting in.

Ren’s fame began after a bikini snap went viral at just 15.

Yet, it’s not all been fun and games for the star, the sudden rise to stardom caused Ren to struggle with anorexia and mental health.

She told Cosmo: ‘I would look at my profile and be like, “Look at this girl! She has, like, the most perfect life!” and I would feel so guilty for not feeling blessed all the time, I was my worst critic ever’.

She now speaks openly about her mental health on social media and suggests that she is in a much better place.

Be sure to check out Ren’s Insta for outfit inspo and to keep up to date with the collection.

I am sure you agree with me all of the products look amazing and would be sure to make a quality Insta gym selfie, I’m just a little dubious of their realistic practicality and affordability (sorry!).

To me they scream more catwalk ready than gym ready.
